This pump made going back to work and expressing a breeze. It’s easy to put together, clean and has a great battery life. Is definitely worth measuring and getting the right flange size.
This is my third baby, and with all of them, I’ve had to exclusively pump due to various challenges. This is my first experience using a wearable pump, and I can’t thank Mumilk enough! I use two pumps, and they’ve truly been a game-changer. The convenience of being able to pump while caring for my baby or handling other tasks is incredible. It has saved me so much time, especially when I need to attend events or appointments. The Ella pumps make it all so effortless!
The BEST storage bags! I'm so glad I purchased these when I ordered spare parts for my original pump. These bags actually have accurate measurements so I'm no longer disappointed when I pour from bag to bottle because there is no quantity drop! They are easy to clean, air dry quickly and fantastic to store. I purchased a 3 pack as I'm a low supplier and I rotate these as I need them for fridge storage. If my supply boosts, I will definitely purchase more!
I’m obsessed with the Ella hands free pump! Being a mum of 2 it has taken the stress out of pumping. It is simple to use and easy to clean. I get about 180ml from one breast in 15 mins! I love it!!
I pulled the pump out to make sure it was working, because the pressure is so gentle! (See picture for result). It’s so light, easy to clean and quick. I bought the smaller size flange and it was really easy to pop in.
I am obsessed with my Ella pumps! I started having feeding issues with my baby when he was 5 weeks old and needed to start triple feeding (breastfeed, top up with expressed milk and pump) for every feed. This process was taking about 1-1.5hrs as he was such a slow feeder and I found that being tied to the spectra and unable to be hands free to settle him really affected me mentally. I ordered 2 Ella’s in the EOFY sale and they changed my life. Our feeding issues are (hopefully) resolving now after a tongue tie release but I have been pumping after every feed for 4 weeks now and the Ella pumps have been amazing. They’re so easy to use, I can hold my baby, I can make breakfast, I can drink water or a coffee, I even pump in the car sometimes. I love the fact that they fit in my bra’s, I tend not to use the extender as I find it’s a bit loose on it’s tightest setting, I think the fact that I can’t actually see the amount of milk that I’m pumping really helps my supply as I’m not constantly watching the milk drip out and worrying about how much I’m making. I’ve found that I pump just as much if not more than I did with the spectra and I really think it’s because I barely even know I’m pumping, it takes minimal effort and I can be with my baby and get the oxytocin flowing which really helps in the long run. The only ‘downside’ to using the pumps 6-7 times a day is that I know I’ll need to replace the parts every 3 months as recommended but honestly, that’s a small price to pay for a stress free pumping journey!
This is my second baby- our first 3 years ago I pumped with a spectra which I was so happy with (I don’t remember even seeing these style of pumps around back then?!) this time I decided to buy one of these pumps since i now have a busy toddler and thought it might be a handy option to have being able to pump and move around. This pump is all I’ve used, it’s just as if not more powerful than my spectra, I get so much more milk in a shorter amount of time. I can’t believe how good it is, I also love the freedom of being able to do other things while pumping. I 100% recommend buying yourself one (if not two!) if you’re planning on doing any pumping! I also got a pretty good return from my private health fund so make sure you look into that also!
I love this product! I got gifted one for my baby shower & after trialing the one decided I needed another.
The 20min timing is perfect, easy to wash. I had an issue with one of them at the beginning where the suction wasn’t working but the staff were quick to post me out a replacement one.
Highly recommend for Mummas who are exclusively pumping and bottle feeding!
Received these absolutely adorable bottles. I ordered 12 pink bottles, as they were on sale. I was very very surprised with the packaging it comes in, it’s cutely displayed! Bottles super easy to hold with one hand, even my toddler was fond to hold them with 1 hand to help feed our newborn. Quality is worth the money! Wish they had them in larger size as they only come in 150ml.
I was a bit sceptical about this pump but I thought I'd give it a try because I wanted a hands free pump.
Wow - I'm so impressed. Last night I pulled 170ml in about 20mins. I've never pumped this much before with any other pump (and I've had a few). And the added bonus of being able to potter around while pumping. Highly recommend this pump!!!
The Ella hands free pump is simply amazing! With my first baby I had a traditional plug in pump that was such a pain to take to and from work. Not to mention being stuck to a power outlet. With my second baby, decided to buy the Ella originally for my friends wedding so I could easily pump on the go. It was so shocked at how good it was and how much I could pump in such a short time. Now I’m back at work, I can easily and discreetly pump at my desk and no one would know! So much easier to transport and clean too. Love it!
I have been using the Spectra S1 pump for the last couple of months, but with needing to transition slowly back to work I was looking for a more convenient and discreet pump to use throughout the day. I did a bit of research on wearable pumps and decided on the Ella. I must say I was a little sceptical with how it would perform, however from the first use it was super easy and I’m so impressed that it matches what I get from my Spectra. (Photos are from 1 boob, first pump in the morning). Plus, I can also keep doing things around the house or get myself ready for the day. Very happy!
Absolutely love this product. I have a toddler and a newborn so pumping on the go is a must. I got x2 Ella's to save time switching sides. Love the screen to see how long I've pumped. The cups when standing on a surface you can see on the markers how many mls you've pumped which is very useful. Probably get a little less output than using my Spectra but not significantly so.
This is the best brand pump I've ever tried. I am 110% satisfied and couldn't be happier.
Highly recomend for the mums out there.
I was given The Ella wearable pumps as a gift from my beautiful friends for my baby sprinkle for my twins. My girls spent 25 days in the NICU, so I chose to express feed the girls and have continued to do so for 4 months. I wear the pumps x5 times a day for 15- 20 mins each and get close to 150mls each side - which is a testimate to how fantastic these pumps truly are.
However, I have to replace my pumps after 4 months because there seems to be moisture or milk that's gone into the USB charging port / digital screen and now one of the motors is not able to change any settings and the other I can't see anything on the screen. I think if there was a plug/cover over the USB port hole or if that was on the outside and not in the same location as the milk catchment this would be a game changer. I understand that they are not meant to be filled up, but sometimes it happens or if you have to bend over to pick up bubs the milk can go into the motor area. I will still recommend the Ella to anyone who wants to express, it's a fantastic product and as a busy mama with twins and a 6 year old; school pick ups have never even easier.
As recommended- I would absolutely change the spare parts every 3 months. I noticed I wasn't completely emptying and once I changed to the new parts the problem was solved.
I am holding out until black Friday sales to replace mine but its unfortunate its only latested 4 months.
I've been putting a piece of tape over the USB port hole to make sure no milk gets in there. Hoping to prevent this from happening again once I order my new pumps.
Love my new Ella!
Bought a pair to start building up stocks prior returning to work and the Ella works an absolute magic! Easy to use, easy to clean, and I always get a lot! A full bottle each morning 😻 it sure makes life a bit easier and it makes me so happy to think that I’ll be able to continue provide breastmilk for Bub even upon returning to work 💛 it warms my worried heart 🥹
By far the best pump I have ever had. So much more convenient than old school plug in pumps.
This pump allows me to move around comfortably and still run around my toddler / get things done.
I have had great results and pump lots of milk in no time. It's much quieter than a medela pump I had, you can hardly hear it.
Easy to travel with, lightweight, and doesnt take much space.
(it's a Usb C charger so you can take it anywhere and not worry about plugs not matching!)
Easy to clean.
I cannot fault this and recommend it to everyone! 😊
I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! Being a mum to baby no 2 now, I don’t have time to sit on the couch for 20-30 mins and pump. The Ella is an absolute game changer for me. I can do so much more around the house, play with my toddler and not waste time! I am also getting a lot more milk from the Ella than I was with my Spectra! Highly, highly recommend the Ella. It’s money well worth spent! 😀
genuinely cannot recommend this pump & business enough, their customer service is impeccable and the pump itself is the best i’ve ever used, i get more output with it than i do with my hospital grade one, just 15 mins with this pump and i can get 200ml+. has exceeded my expectations by miles
Having the Ella, I am able to pump like a champ while bub sleeps and also get the annoying chores done. 10 minutes of pumping, on setting 3, I am able to get 60ml. I don't feel a thing, it's so quite, fits perfectly into my bra. I am just so happy it's portable, I feel like I get a bit of me time back. Winning# I went back and bought another Ella, so now I have 2!
I’m an exclusively pumping mum and this pump has completely changed my life! I got the Ella pump 3 months into having my baby boy and I felt so free once I started using it. I had the spectra S1 pump prior to the Ella and i felt tied to the lounge. Couldn’t hold my son or get stuff done around the house. Since using the Ella I can pump whenever I like, I can hold my son and I take it wherever I go! I pump anywhere, anytime and I haven’t gone back to my old pump. The power is the same as the spectra and I have kept up the same milk supply! LIFE CHANGED!
I've built up a substantial stash of frozen breast milk, enough to cover me for the next two months. What I truly appreciate about this hands-free pump is that it allows me to multitask while I'm pumping, making life so much more convenient. The discreet design is another bonus - it means I can pump without being self-conscious about it. I'm a full-time expresser, and with this pump, I consistently yield between 210-320ml per session. It's been a game-changer for my breastfeeding journey.
Received the Ella and protective case. The breast pumps work great and fit in my bra, not stuck to a chair anymore! Not that you could wear it to the shops or anything! They're pretty quiet and very easy to clean. Charge quickly and battery lasts for a number of 20 minute pump cycles. The case is a bit oversized and could use a carrying handle but absolutely serves it's purpose.
Honestly I was a bit worried when purchasing these pumps thinking they might not be as good as my medala electric pump. Honestly these are a game changer for me with a newborn & toddler it’s so hard to pump while sitting and being restricted. This has saved me I can cook dinner and pump and pump while breastfeeding. Pump while looking after my kids. I feel I’ve been able to store my milk easier. I highly recommend this product it’s not loud doesn’t hurt and I get 150 mls on each side. It’s probably better than my other pump. I recommend buying the covers for each to make sure no dust gets in.
The Ellea has made it possible to multitask and not be restrained to a seat. With the right flange size I produce 100mls minimum and that's after a feed.
I love that it's more discreet and it feels comfortable. If your power pumping it has a timer for you to check instead of using your phone for a timer.
Highly recommend, I also use the pro which is just as good, just not as discreet. It's definitely easier to put together.
